You should use pavers wherever there is no slab, wherever vehicles drive, or wherever the ground moves.

Sawn Finish
A flat, machine-cut surface (done with a diamond blade) with a slightly textured face. Sawn bluestone works well on covered patios, alfresco floors, and interior applications where a smoother, more formal look suits the design.
Honed Finish
Ground smooth and sealed to a soft matte sheen, honed bluestone suits indoor floors and undercover outdoor zones. It shows the stone’s natural blue-grey tone clearly, but needs a non-slip sealer if it is used near water.
Sandblasted Finish
Fine abrasive blasting toughens the surface to improve the grip without looking coarse. This finish is the most common pick for pool surrounds and alfresco paving because it balances comfort underfoot with slip resistance.
Bush-Hammered Finish
