Make sure the concrete slab is properly cleaned, has been levelled, and fully cured. You have to let it sit for 3-4 weeks. Once it is free of grease, dust, or any other compounds, apply a priming agent as per requirement.
Use a flexible, white, polymer-modified tile adhesive suitable for natural stone (Class C2S1 is suggested). White adhesive prevents potential dark shadowing through light-grained natural bluestone veins or pores.
Apply adhesive using a 10mm or 12mm notched trowel. Back-butter the back of each bluestone tile with a thin layer of adhesive to achieve 100% surface contact. This will cover all the hollow spots under tiles, if any.
Maintain a 3mm grout joint or any other measurement as per your installation requirement. Apply a clear penetrating water-based pre-sealer to the bluestone tiles on all 6 sides and allow it to dry. Then grout with a flexible cementitious grout. Clean off grout haze promptly using clean water and a damp sponge.
